1) PGTs

(a) Two Year Integrated Post Graduate Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT or any other NCTE recognized university/Institute, in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Note: B.Ed. degree is not required for the candidates who have undergone four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCTE recognized institution.

Or

Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects:

i) PGT (English)

ii)PGT (Hindi)

iii) PGT (Physics)

iv) PGT (Chemistry)

v) PGT (Maths)

vi) PGT(Economics)

vii) PGT(Biology)

viii) PGT(History)

ix) PGT(Geography)

x) PGT(Commerce)

b) B.Ed Degree

(c) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.

2) TGTs:- A) Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate

Or

Bachelors Honors Degree with at least 50% marks in concerned subject/combination of subjects and also in aggregate. Candidate should have studied requisite subject(s) for at least 2 years in the 03 years degree course.

Note 1: B.Ed degree is not required for the candidates who have undergone four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCTE recognized institution.

Post wise elective subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects are as under :

a) For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all the three years of Degree course.

b) For TGT (English): English as a subject in all the three years of Degree course.

c) For TGT (Maths) – (i) Bachelor Degree in Maths along with Physics and any one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics.

d) For TGT (Science)- Botany, Zoology and Chemistry.

e) For TGT (Social Science):

TGT (III Language)

1. Concerned Regional Language as a subject/elective subject in all the three years of Degree course.

2. Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE, for the purpose.

3. B.Ed. Degree/TPT

TGT (Computer Science):

1. Bachelors Degree in Computer Application (BCA) from a recognized University.

OR

Graduation in Computer Science/B.E./B.Teach(Computer Science/Information Technology)

3) Art Teachers

a) Degree in Fine Arts/Crafts from a recognized University (BFA).

OR

B. Ed. Degree in Fine Arts from Regional Institute of Education.

4) Physical Education Teacher(Male & Female)

(a) Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education [B.P.Ed.] from a recognized University.

5) Music Teachers

(i) Bachelor degree in music from a recognized university provided that music subject is studied in all three years of Degree as main subject.

6) Librarian

1. University degree in Library Science from a recognized institution.

2. Working knowledge English and Hindi.

NVS Teacher Vacancy 2025 Age Limit

Candidates age should be maximum 50 years. For Ex NVS/Superannuated Govt. School teacher’s maximum age limit will be 65 Years as on 1st July 2025.

3. Select the “NVS Teacher Recruitment 2025” notification.
4. Register with your details and log in.

6. Pay the application fee and submit the form.

8. Eligible candidates will be called for document verification & personal interview and the call letter will be sent by email only by the Principal of respective Venue JNVs.
9. Candidates shall bring printed and self-attested copy of the application form at the time of document verification at the venue.
10. Candidates shall bring self-attested 01 set of photocopies of all required documents and mark list of each Semester/Year of Degree/Post-Graduation/Diploma/Experience certificates/Awards/NCC cert. etc. with originals at the time of document verification at the venue.
